The player on each USL Championship team you should buy stock in

From budding young stars to veterans making the leap, don't sleep on these USL players.

Phoenix Rising

Watching players across the USL break out and find a new level is the joy of any given season, but picking the individuals that’ll keep it up is like playing the stock market. There are “blue chip” stars that have answered questions, cemented their all-league status, and positioned themselves for a future move. Birmingham Legion

Jassem Koleilat, GK

If you’re a Legion fan, you’re already in love with Koleilat. The 27-year-old was a star in the Canadian Premiership before jumping to the USL, immediately establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the league. Behind a shaky Birmingham defense, Koleilat has posted a 76% save rate while making just under four stops per game. On a roster that feels like it’s between eras and managerial visions, the goalkeeper is a building block.
