Winner: Nashville SC

How do you respond to getting battered? You do some battering of your own, of course.

That was the case for Nashville SC, who went from losing 3-0 to the Seattle Sounders last weekend to decimating the Chicago Fire — I assure you, reader, those italics are warranted after a 7-2 victory. Only the 1998 Los Angeles Galaxy have scored more goals in a single game than Nashville did in their bounce-back win on Saturday.
