Austin FC

Result: 2-2 draw vs. Philadelphia Union

The more I watch him settle into life in Austin, the more I like Diego Rubio’s fit. Unlike Gyasi Zardes, who was signed ahead of last season, Rubio is more than just a goal threat in the final third. He’s also a guy who can create a few chances for his attacking teammates.

Starting up top as the lone striker in a 4-3-3 for Josh Wolff, Rubio pulled more than a few strings for Austin FC in their 2-2 draw with Philly on Saturday.
