On Thursday, MLS announced its complete 2026 regular season schedule, with opening day landing on February 21st.
For MLS’s final full season before a summer-to-spring calendar is instituted in 2027, the league will take a World Cup break from May 25th to July 16th, pausing for all but the final three days of the 2026 World Cup. Five MLS stadiums will host World Cup games during the league’s break.
