Winning the offseason doesn’t guarantee success in the USL Championship, but it sure beats losing it. 

The groundwork between November and February is the best barometer for how teams will change their tactics and whether they’ll improve or regress in the year to come. Teams that didn’t do enough stick out like a sore thumb in a league that’s increasingly ambitious from top to bottom.
